The Snipes Lament Plaque
The Snipes Lament Plaque
For those who served below decks and kept the fleet moving.
Some of the hardest work aboard a ship happens where few ever see it. Deep below decks, surrounded by heat, noise, and machinery, the Snipes keep the engines running, the power flowing, and the ship ready for whatever lies ahead.
This commemorative plaque features the timeless poem The Snipe's Lament, a tribute to the hardworking engineers whose dedication keeps our ships underway.
Each plaque features the engineering rating insignia of your choice prominently displayed within the design, making it a meaningful tribute to a specific Navy or Coast Guard specialty.
Perfect for retirements, promotions, farewell gifts, military recognition, or proudly displaying your own engineering heritage.
Available for U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard engineering ratings. Simply select your branch of service and engineering rating from the available options.
Because every ship has a crew, but it takes Snipes to keep her running.
